My doctor expresses concern about my natural health treatments. What should I do?

Naturopathic Herbal medicine has been used for thousands of years and has extensive case histories and experience (again stretching back for thousands of years). Usually people come to me when modern medicine has been unable to solve their problems.  We endeavour to work safely with the treatment that you are already receiving from your doctor and are available to discuss your treatment plans with any health professional at any time. For patient concerns, we have found it best that a patient return to the office for an in-person visit to discuss issues and arrange for a treatment plan that works for the patient and their team. Ultimately you will have to make a choice about the direction you wish to take regarding your own health.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

New patients should reserve a minimum of two hours for the initial consultation.

The majority of the initial appointment consists of the gathering information from the patient to design a custom treatment plan.

The focus of Naturopaths is to get to the root cause of the problem rather than treating symptoms. In order to do this effectively we need as much information as possible so that we can give your body all the necessary tools to promote the healing process.

This purpose of this consultation is also to help you to understand how you can take direct action to improve your own health.
